What is Graphic Design?

Graphic Designers create books, websites, magazines, film titles, catalogs, typefaces, signage systems, television graphics, posters and postcards. From complex identity programs to single logos, graphic designers give a face and a “visual voice” to retail and cultural enterprises, to entertainment, manufacturing and service industries, governmental and political interests. Simply put, graphic designers give meaningful visual form to content in all media: from print to screen; business cards to billboards; computer interfaces to movie screens. But the most critical skill graphic designers offer is their unique ability to communicate specific messages through the artful manipulation of typography and images, systems and structures. Their work promotes, educates, directs, informs, exposes, clarifies, beautifies and delights.

My life has never seemed so stressful. i've been at school for 30 hours + this weekend alone. and woud just love time to escape in a conversation that doesn't have to deal with school.

I miss you and hope i hear from you soon.

I think i'm going to go see Across the Universe next weekend:
Set against the anti-war protests, rock and roll revolution, and mind-expanding psychedelia of the 1960s, Julie Taymor's hallucinogenic musical follows the arduous journey of star crossed lovers Jude (Jim Sturgess) and Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood) as they and a small group of musicians are swept up in the raging waters of the volatile counterculture movement. Guided through their journey by a pair known only as Dr. Robert (Bono) and Mr. Kite (Eddie Izzard), Jude and Lucy are eventually forced to find their way back to one another after being split apart by powerful forces beyond their control. The music in the film consists exclusively of songs made popular by The Beatles during the time period depicted in the movie.

Everything is going to well recently. I'm so excited to finish school and start my future. I filled out many applications yesterday for companies i would love to design for. There are many things I can't wait to do like get a good job, buy a house, and just be successful.

I just couldn't be anymore content, and knowing i'm going to see scott soon is great.

Well I'm back in Palatka, and life has picked up quickly and started moving. I had a great time in Cali. like I always do, it is always so disappointing going from such a loving place like my home or the Lowes to Palatka, where I always wake up alone.

This is Katt and I ( a mess) but we decided to clean the entire house today, but its already trash. COOL
